Check out the amazing work happening in Mrs. Chyenne Scheets' 1st-grade class! They learned about structures, inspired by "Iggy Peck, Architect”. The students got creative with ghost gumdrops to build their own innovative structures.

School Bus Safety: School bus safety involves a combination of responsible behavior by students, well-trained drivers, and proper vehicle maintenance. Parents, schools, and communities all play a role in ensuring the safety of students during their school bus commute. It's crucial to continually reinforce and educate students about these safety measures to minimize risks and create a secure environment.

Bus Safety Week: Here are a few tips for all students to remain safe on the bus: Tip 1: Wait your turn and use the handrail when entering and exiting the bus. Tip 2: Be respectful to your bus driver. They are responsible for your safety. Tip 3: Stay seated and facing forward while the bus is in motion. No horsing around. Tip 4: Listen to your bus driver's instructions in an emergency. Know the emergency exits. Remember, bus safety isn't just the driver's responsibility; it's everyone's duty.

This is National Bus Safety Week! Our students rely on school buses daily to get them safely to and from school. But for this system to work, we all have a role in ensuring bus safety. Please listen to this reminder of MO Law for stopping for a school bus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByCELO1jYJ4

It was "Knock Mr. T's Socks Off Day" Today in 3rd Grade! Mr. T went without shoes and socks for the day because his awesome third grade class "knocked his socks off" for great behavior forweek by making great choices of being respectful, responsible, and safe! We closed out the day reading one of Mr. T's, favorite books, "Smelly Socks"!
