This week Mrs. Seago's 4th grade class has been learning about the Earth’s layers and rock formation using playdough. What an exceptional way to make learning memorable and fun!!!
Special thanks to Mr. Jason Mayberry, the Stroke Education Coordinator at TCMH, for his presentation about strokes he shared with our students here at Raymondville R-VII today. Mrs. Rodgers 5th grade class have been learning about organs and body systems in science. Mr. Mayberry's presentation on strokes (prevention and warning signs) fit right in with that unit.

Raymondville Important Times
Don't forget to pick up a 21-22 yearbook tonight at open house! The cost is $12 per book. Get yours before they are gone!
Raymondville Middle School Volleyball will begin on August 22, from 3:45-5:30. All athletes must have a physical on file with the school by the 8/22 to practice. Please make sure to have your volleyball shoes and gear by the first day of practice.

The Raymondville 2022/2023 school year will be kicked off with Open House on 8/18. It will be from 5:00-6:30. We will be accepting $10 donations for the students school supplies by the office during that time. We look forward to seeing our students back in the halls and classrooms!
New students enrollment begins August, 8th. Stop by the office to pick up enrollment forms.
Raymondville middle school students are invited to the Houston Jr. High football camp is July 11-15 from 9:00-10:30 am at the football field. The cost is free. Players should wear shorts, t-shirts, football cleats or tennis shoes. Players are encouraged to bring their own water or Gatorade.
The Raymondville R-7 School District is hosting a meeting to review our SRCSP (Safe Return and Continuity of Services Plan) from 3:00-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, in the library. Our current plan is posted on the district website.
As part of our participation in federal funding (ESSER III), the district is required to meet to review and, if necessary, make changes to this plan, even though the Covid virus has subsided somewhat. Staff and community are welcome to participate.
Summer School will be from June 6th-30th. Summer school will be Monday-Thursday from 7:50-3:40. Attached below will be the pick-up and drop-off spots where the bus will meet students this year and the estimated times it will run.
Parents As Teachers (PAT) had a great time yesterday at their event. The parents and children enjoyed books, bubbles, and popsicles. Thank you to all the families that were able to attend. If you have a child under the age of 5 and would like to participate in our PAT program please contact Mrs. Thomas.
