ANNUAL TITLE I MEETING-IN LIEU OF FACE-TO-FACE
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act, of 1965 and its revisions, has developed pools of funding that school districts can utilize in order to develop and support learning for students. These monies are called Title I. Title I, Part A, requires that each Title I school hold an annual meeting for the parents and families whose children receive Title I services in order to:
• Inform you of the school’s participation in Title I, Part A
• Explain the requirements of Title I, Part A
• Explain your rights and opportunities as parents and families to be involved in your child’s learning and achievement
In lieu of the annual face-to-face meeting this article was developed, during the COVID-19 pandemic, to address all the above requirements without assembling multiple families together.
Attached is a presentation that will cover such concepts. There is also a form attached that will allow you to acknowledge your viewing of the materials, while this form is not required to be filled out by all who view the document(s), it would be greatly appreciated.
Please drop off any signed forms to the Elementary Office.
